Children’s Nursing Queensland offer comprehensive nursing assessments for children with complex needs. Our clinical nurse consultants offer assessments to optimize care and comfort, promote dignity and quality of life and ensure the safe treatment of your child whilst in care.
Comprehensive nursing assessments are suitable for children with multiple care needs, such as incontinence, tube feeding, suctioning, oxygen, seizure management or skin integrity management. A holistic approach to assessment will encompass physical, behavioural, medical, social, and emotional needs. A report can be provided for NDIS to advocate for appropriate consumables, services and supports.
Education and care plans can be provided to ensure safe and appropriate care at home, school, childcare or supported living facilities. Telehealth or in home appointments available depending on location and clinical need. Adult clients are welcome on request!
