Children’s Nursing Queensland aims to support families in their health care journey by providing specialised paediatric nursing care in the home, early childhood services and school environments. We can also assist families to obtain appropriate NDIS funding and support to meet their individual needs through specialised nursing assessments. Assessments can be carried out nation wide over the phone or via in person consultations state wide by our industry expert nursing team.

Our local paediatric nursing practice is a business Queenslander’s can trust. Our holistic approach also allows us to offer nationwide in-depth phone assessment consultations and state-wide one on one visits. Our service makes it easier for the community to access assessments carried out by quality nurses without having to go to hospital.

What To Expect
Children’s Nursing Queensland is a private, nurse-led service that provides general and specialised nursing care. Services include assessment and management of enteral feeding devices, bowel and bladder stomas including MACE’s/Chait’s and wounds. Our service specialises in comprehensive nursing care plans, assessments and education for care providers and the NDIS.

A Little about our Founders

Lisa started her career in paediatric nursing in 2012 and has worked with children with a variety of complex care needs. Her experience in spinal cord injury, brain injury, complex surgical care and continence nursing leaves her with a holistic approach to caring for children and their families. Lisa has shared her knowledge and skill in paediatric nursing care at the Spinal Injury Nurse Association annual conference on several occasions. She is a qualified Stomal Therapist, Clinical Nurse Consultant and holds a Masters in Advanced Practice Nursing. Lisa enjoys travelling and experiencing new adventures with her young family as often as she can.

After initially completing a Bachelor of Social Science with a major in sociology, Natalie’s passion for social justice closely aligns with her desire to help all patients and families to receive appropriate and compassionate health care. Since commencing her nursing career in 2015, Natalie has worked exclusively in paediatrics, is a registered Stomal Therapist and has extensive experience with surgical, stomal, urological and burns patients. As a Clinical Nurse Consultant with Children’s Nursing Queensland, she provides a warm and empathetic approach to her care and focuses on providing family centred care. Natalie enjoys spending time with her young family and fur babies, playing board games and cooking.
